Really friendly service and most importantly trully delicious dishes.
Soft tofu stew, Bibimpab (mixed rice), Pork bone soup, Creamy bean stew, and Dumpling soup are a must eat among other great dishes on the menu.This family operated reataurant is a true gem of Korean restaurants in Toronto.

Chaban serves delicious homemade Korean staples in a casual friendly setting. 
They just opened a couple of weeks ago, so I tried lunch on a Friday afternoon. 
The soft tofu stew was delicious...all accompaniments were very good too. Servers and owners were very friendly and service was prompt...

The place was very busy on Friday night during their first week in business.  
We had the pork cutlet and pork bone soup.  
Both were very good as were the usual little appetizers that accompany Korean meals. 
 The service is prompt, friendly and helpful.  
The restaurant is bright and clean.  Probably not suitable for a quiet, intimate dinner but despite the full house, 
it was still easy to have a conversation.

맛과 질이다른 한국식당입니다 
운좋게도 이 레스토랑 근처에 살고있었어서 
날추워지기전 새로 한국식당이 들어와 공사하는거보고 꼭 가봐야겠다싶어서 
오픈한거보고 기회봐서 한국에서 연수온 동기와 갔다왔는데
대만족하고왔습니다.

Heres the best korean restaurant that i ever had experience before. 
Many other korean restaurant in Chirstie can not be same as here CHABAN, 
like quality and food tasty.

If you want to try real Korean Home-Made styled food, 
this is THE PLACE to go. 
I have tried many Korean restaurants in T.O, 
but I could really tell this place makes authentic Korean food, 
once I picked up the very first side dish. 
Well prepared foods overall. 
We tried about 4 different dishes, and they were all great. 
It reminded me my mom's recipe. 
Also the place is very clean and staffed with friendly people. 
I had a chance to go to washroom, and it was very clean and well maintained. 
I personally believe the cleaness of the washroom reflects the cleaness of the kitchen. 
I really liked the place. Food, staff, restaurant atmosphere, clean and readiness. 
My other recommendation to the folks who would like to visit: 
Be there early! 
Even though it's newly opened, the place was already quite busy and people were lined up to get in. 
The place filled up fully by 6:30 pm. 
I live in Aurora (which is about 50km away from the location), but I will definitely go there again!

Surprise find on my way to Costco on Queensway! 
Chaban is Korean restaurant that just opened on Queensway across from Costco.
 I had my family with me so we drop by for dinner after shopping at Costco and it was delicious! 
I love Korean food and tried many many different Korean restaurants
 in North York, Christie, and Mississauga but this is hands down one of the best! 
and definitely THE best on all of west T.O.! 
I'm sooo glad Chaban is in my neighborhood!! 
Check it out if you have a chance...
you won't be disappointed. A little note on parking that might help you. 
There is a small parking at the back of the building, 
but it was full when I went so I parked on Queensway a few steps from the restaurant. 
It's free after 6pm Mon to Sat and all day Sunday. 
Even during the day, the parking there is super cheap...
I believe about a $1/hr. 
Or, you can park on the side streets, free all day everyday.
